Looking at the container right now... Dupont Prep-Sol Solvent 3919S
"An excellent pre-sanding solvent cleaner for removing silicone, tar, wax, polish, grease, weathered finish, etc from old lacquer and enamel finishes." I've used Prep-Sol for years...On plastics, fiberglass, epoxy, metals, wood, etc and never experienced any ill effects. The PPG DX-330 is basically the same thing. You should find it at most automotive paint supply shops. -Sheldon- YNT uDesign A Soaring Nationals Supporter -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Sheen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2003 9:16 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Soaring Subject: Re: [RCSE] Prep-Sol An auto body paint and supply place would be my first guess. Prep Sol is a Dupont brand I believe, PPG is another brand but I'm not sure what their equivalent is (DX 330 or DX 380 might be close).
