FAI prohibits telemetry, AMA has no rules. That's the way it is at the moment.
Let me clarify this statement a bit, FAI prohibits telemetry use, AMA does not, but it does have a rule in place about the use of a thermal sensor device. 10.1.f if you are a rules geek.
