They fly on a different Freq than we do and I wasn't able to round up module and RX in time prior to going..so I did the next best thing..
I borrowed an Icom hand held scanner which watched the entire band of 72mhz. That made me feel safe and gave them some confidence that I wouldn't be causing an international incident flying a contest with my USA stuff.
What I found was that so far I have yet to pick up anything on 72 mhz anywhere around Sydney this entire days ( I kept it on during the day during work).
