Midwest flyers; I'm planning an LSF slope/thermal weekend at the Wilson Reservoir in Kansas some time this spring. I plan on scheduling it before the LASS event, which is held the weekend after Mothers day in May. The intent of this get together is to allow people to earn their 1, 2, 4 and 8 hour slope flights. If the winds aren't favorable for slope flying, we'll have a series of mini-contests and one large event for those needing contest points and landings. I need to know if anyone has any other days picked out (F3F races, ?) so we don't have a scheduling conflict.
I also need to know how many people would consider attending something like this. I need to see if there is enough interest to move forward on this matter.
