Folks, It's that time of year for the two day Dayton HLG contest. This year we managed not to schedule it on the same weekend as Carlisle, and we're looking at a solid turnout. The contest will take place on June 26th and 27th at Twin Towers Park outside Yellow Springs, Ohio. If you've ever been to Dayton for a contest, you know that this is one of the nicest THERMAL flying facilities in the midwest.
I will be taking a week off the OVSS circuit to CD this event, which will be flown as two separate single day contests with an overall winner. Tasks will be normal as HL contests go these days, and flying will end at 3:00 eastern on Sunday to help those travelling. We will take a maximum of two fliers on each frequency, with an emphasis on maximum. Flying will be seeded man on man, of course, with a blind draw the first round of each day. We have trophies for the winners at the end of the day, and a the usual DFL award... Pre-registration will be taken via email up to the 24th of June, after which we will close registration to assemble flight groups. Email pre-registration as soon as possible to get in on the fun.
