And still no SZD-55 model. Humph.

Hi all!

I have just recently sent a "test" message to the Scale Soaring list to see if the list is still alive.
I got a immediate respond from Tom Martin presenting his effort to bring scale models of Schweizer family gliders.
First I thought Tom is from Australia or Japan because of the modeling style his models present. This is some kind of clever mix between a living room display model, a park flyer and a small cliff slope machine. Something you definitely do not need to put apart to put in your room, but hangs there and you stare at it when you need to, like you stare at your favorite baseball poster only in 3-D instead.
Tom is not only domestic, but he struck me with his determination to deliver professionally made models and bring back the forgotten modeling style from the 50's where youngsters had their models hung on the wall for admiration from their friends.
Tom's web site address is not working today, but I hope he would be able to correct it as soon he sees this post.

Now !
It has been more then two year ago I got involved in the dispute on RCSE about small display models of famous gliders.
It was nothing to offer that time despite the tremendous job already done toward a variety of scale projects based on the Polish Soaring Fleet.
This year these models are slowly surfacing.
I am glad to offer a superbly crafted display models of the Polish Soaring Fleet in 1:48 scale. You find there Jantars, Foka, Muchas, Bocian models.
You have to see it to believe it
