[RCSE] NATS: right place, right time

Well,   from the "it's not what you know, it's who you know" file.   I've been going to the NATS for about 10 years now.   Usually finished in the half that makes the top half of the standings possible.  in every event.  every year.   Wood?  What's that?   Well, Steve Meyers (sp?) specs out, Jim Carlton drives, and I jump in the truck bed as "observer" as Steve 'assaults' the course.   And, for riding out on the XC course, holding Steve's hat, and waving cars around Jim's truck,   I get my first wood as a 'team member'.    Un-by-God-believeable.   Thanks, Steve!   Wishing I could still be out there with you guys...   Dana Flemming
