Yes, he told me that also, among other things. Although all channel numbers were never available in the three years I kept the 3030, I did get two more TX crystals. I was also told by Karlton that the short JR whip antenna was certified by Ernie for use on the 3030, and I still have his email saved in which he told me that. He later denied saying that to me, but I have his words:-) Oh well, I'm happy flying all JR. Bill G.
