Michael Eiche (son of famous scale modeller and competition flyer Erik Eiche) has produced a very cool video of the Northwest Soaring Society's 2004 Spring Tune-up. The video, just shy of 6 minutes in length, features professional-quality editing and photography, a driving soundtrack and both ground-based and aerial footage. Edited to "tell a story", showing this video would be a great way to show folks what R/C soaring is all about. The video (available in .wmv format) can be downloaded from
http://www.specdoutsailplanes.com/gallery.html Questions to Michael can be sent via the e-mail link on that page. To me, this video sets a new standard for toy airplane videos. Thanks to Ron Turner for making this video on the Spec'd Out Sailplanes website. Jay Decker Kennewick, WA RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
