So, after three days and five tries, running thru my complete set of servo
connector pins and blocks, it turns out I was building the connectors
satisfactorily, more or less, the whole time, but the #2 channel on my hitec 3-channel
Am receiver has some kind of problem. The servos take power, and resists
hand-turning the output wheel witha buzz, but will not respond to TX stick commands
on channel 2.
I'm in central IL, what's a good place to send in the RX for repair?
Considering it cost around 30 bucks, I imagine I will be close to that on the repair
cost...grrrrrr...
Call Hitec and tell them you have a dead receiver. Ask them what they'll charge to fix it. They may well do it for free. That has always been my experience with them.
