Martin, I've only seen speculation here - no facts at all. I'm not aware that anyone has presented any empirical data supporting the notion that the government is disabling RC aircraft.

Since we are now in a security-oriented culture nobody will tell us what they're doing or why so we don't even know for sure that this is happening and if it is under what policies it was applied -- we don't even know who to ask and we're unlikely to get answer sif we did. There are politics involved because politics sets the agenda, the cultural environment, and its the only way we're going to have any kind of input into this process.
