Dave - I've been piddling around with the 9303 long enough to have figured out that this can indeed be done, and mostly it works pretty well.
But I must admit that I side with Bill Malvey (and others) that simplicity is a good thing. With a good stick switch you can set the plane up so that whatever else has been dialed in, thermal, cruise, or speed, whenever you move the flap stick all trims, camber settings, differentials, or whatever are brought back to a known value and the landing mode is entered. With the current setups I need to remember to flip a switch in addition, or else live with whatever camber and elevator trim offsets were in effect when I started pulling the flaps in. Could be ok, could be less than perfect. I have been trying to relearn my nasty old habits, but I'm pretty slow and a bunch lazy. happy trails - Rob If these XX year old fingers can do this, then any one can, and that includes you Bubba.
