Well, no offense to Gordy, but when your Base B turn is signaled by the
guy at Base A saying "yeah, that's about it, ROLL, TURN!", we don't
worry about notifying FAI.  :)
 
It's true I was flying a LOT longer course than the FAI limit but I didn't want to do too well first time out :-)

Its about time some of you guys flying a lot of F3F started sharing some of the skills needed to optimize turns, its bound to help aspiring F3B enthusiasts.

RC Soaring Digest is now free for download, and since it is by sailplaners for sailplaners, how about some of you guys contributing articles on F3F?  A regular column would be a great idea if someone is up to it.  Not so much event coverage but more of a lean toward the nuts and bolts of the sport.
Its time it became a truly international publication so including FAI events will help take it that way.
