SLNT has been doing this for a number of years for both their monthly
contests and for TNT. We did it a couple of times for HLG at Last Fling (Tulsa)
several years ago before DLG was developed. Using constrained ZIP lines was
discussed in RCSD about 6 years back. SLNT simplified that quite a bit so you
might contact them since they have a lot of experience with ZIP equipment and
this mixed format (ZIP-HLG and DLG). The 'ZIP'ers are at a disadvantage on
turnaround time but it keeps more people involved.

Anything to enhance HLG/DLG is fair game. This approach works and I haven't
heard grumbling about allowing this option (other than occasionally tripping
on the ZIP line).
