I currently have a D70 and love it! You can't ask for a better quality, more versatile camera. I studied photography for a while and am at the skilled/semi-professional level. One of the features that I really like is that I can take up to 3 pictures a second. Just hold the button down and she fires away with no lag for saving the pix. Use a 512 meg CF card and you'll have a hard time filling it up. I bought the camera with the standard lens and also ordered a 70-300 zoom lens. If you get the 70-300, get the better quality one that lets you control your aperture as well. I went the cheaper route and now wish I had spent the extra money for the better lens.
