Excuse me, the bolt is only on the small tube, a pin and keeper are on the
big one, both attached to the tube via tie down.

Gordy, I just use a bolt and nut that can be opened and closed by TSA
worked great on first trip and I have a bolt in the smaller tube so they do
not close it past the no return spot.
This 'used' to work, but now they are losing the bolt. I
figure if I play their game, maybe I'll get my tube on the luggage pickup
still closed.
