I still think that this is your real problem - "If you have to slide your
finger under the mylar to get it off, you may have a problem". Not the
vacuum,
not the foam. I told you at the very beginning of this quest that you are
probably damaging the wing when you remove the mylars. You are sliding your
fingers under the mylar with your nails towards the wing and you run your
nails
on the surface of the wing, correct? This is not a problem with heavy skin,
but is a no-no with a very light wing skin.

Yup, that's apparently a significant part of the problem. I'm not yet
completely convinced it's the only problem. But based on your feedback and
comments
from others, that's been a point to watch very carefully. The light layup is
definitely a challenge, especially with 15psi foam.

In checking my previous notes from ~ 2 years back, the skin layup was
heavier and the foam was Foamular 250. Even with the occasional 'finger
assist' on
the release, I hadn't seen this problem.

So the school of hard knocks has finally taught me what you guys already
knew. That's where RCSE has been very valuable. This particular configuration
is
somewhat rare so it may not be generally useful for most applications. But
someday it will come in handy. Your comments (and patience) are appreciated.

Right now, I'm not having any problems with Dow 25psi with any layup or at
any pressure. However, even with a very good release and very careful
handling, I still find an occasional defect with Foamular 150 and higher
vacuum with
a light layup. Since the bulk density is indistinguishable, there's just no
reason for me to use the 150 for wings right now.

Thanks again for everyone's input. Just cut three wing sets using the
AG12-13-14 sequence. The cutting went well. I expect the bagging will too.
