The bit about digging fingernails into the wing skin hadn't made it into the public domain until now. I agree completely that this could cause some significant defects/dents in a HL wing. Another point that should be added; If the dents are being made any time after the wing is bagged, then they should steam out. If they were there before or made during the cure cycle they probably wouldn't steam out. I think that Dave may have said in an earlier post that some of the defects did steam out.
