The best thing I have seen recently is called a SporTube. Its an expandable polystereyne hard shell carrier designed for snowboards. If you cant find one on the web or at a retailer let me know, I can give you a contact number here in colorado to order one. They are 139.00 plus 15.00 shipping. A large number of people are using them to ship, travel and store their high end molded r/c sailplanes. Each tube holds two complete planes. Greg
