Can anyone tell me what foams are available at the Home Depot's (or equiv. stores) in your state?
In Fresno, CA, there is a company called Valley Foam that uses foam to produce various objects such as decorative columns, animals etc. for commercial purposes. I've been able to get free scrap 1 lb foam pieces large enough to cut wing cores. I have also bought 2 and 3 pound pieces cut to my dimensions. They get the foam in 4'x4'x10' blocks. It is mostly white foam. If you check in you area you might be able to find a similar company. The price will be higher than Home Depot.
