The `Spectra module in the 8U/9C' issue is quite a religious issue.
Those saying that you can't do it (because of FCC/AMA rules) trying to
drown out those who are actually doing it, and vice versa.

Does it work?  Apparantly.  Is it legal?  Many say no.  The AMA
probably could deny a claim based on it, which is probably the biggest
concern.  [ Yes, I'm talking US here. ]

Futaba has been promising a synthesized module for a long time, and
teasing us with various hints that it might be available.  Lately
they've been giving dates, but the dates keep getting pushed back.
This has been going on for over a year.

But this is the first time that it's shown up on Tower as something
you can actually order, and the date listed should be within two
weeks, so maybe this time it'll actually be available and isn't just
vaporware?

I wonder if the Berg receivers will work with it?  [Berg says that
their receivers don't work with Futaba synthesized transmitter, with
both Berg and Futaba blaming each other for the reason.]
