I love my Pike Superior and have been flying it for 2 yrs.  But it's really 
hard to find a molded X-tail, with a strong wing below 10 oz wing loading 
(the Escape is at 9.4) and especially that can be ballasted.  Most of the 
Super Lites have no ballast tube and say to be cautious about strong 
launches. The Escape has a tube that accepts a 9 oz bar or a 24 oz bar.  So 
it can be flown from 9 to almost a 13 oz wing loading.  Of course I wouldn't 
want to push the Escape to hard or dork it to hard with the 24 oz bar in it.

I could be wrong but I believe you have a SL not an Lt.  On the Samba 
site they show the SL V-tail at 1900 gr. (67 oz.) the Lt X-tail they show 
at 2140 gr. (75.5 oz)

Is that the right weight for your Pike Lite? My V-tail Lite weighs 66, I 
don't the cross tail is 10 ounces....

Flew my new Escape Lt X-tail for the first time today (it came out at 
68 oz). What a great first day on a plane.  It lived up to all my 
expectations and more.  So now my Pike Superior Lt X-tail (76 oz) will 
have to move over to back up.
