Hi, Need some information from the group. Anybody have some experience (Good or bad) about using System Three Clear Coat epoxy for a laminating resin in vacuum bagging wings. I purchased the product several months ago from Fiberlay in Seattle, Wa. after a enthusiastic recommendation from their employee and have not had a chance to use it until now. After reading the spec. sheet, I'm now having some reservations. It's quite thin, which I like, but System Three's own web site information does not give a recommendation for vacuum bagging with this product.
It may be that it's OK, but before I go spreading this on the new wing cores, I need to see where the jury stands. I'm also contacting the company tech staff tomorrow for their input and hope I'm overly concerned for nothing. Input guys? Winston in Walla Walla RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
