Judy Slates, the former co-editor of Radio Control Soaring Digest passed away this morning according to current editor Bunny & Bill Kuhlman.� She had fought a tough battle with cancer and had undergone some extremely difficult treatments.� Judy leaves a legacy and a two decade focused contribution to RCSD seeing it through its hard copy peak as an international RC Soaring magazine and through some tough times as well.� I'm attaching perhaps the only picture I have of she and Jerry taken in 1999.�� I was able to visit with the Slates on a couple of occasions.� Judy provided the knowledge to put together a successful publication and Jerry was the connection with the modeling community.
