I have two Smiley's, a Becker and the factory original antennas. All four work nicely on my MPX transmitter. Each just screws in. No adapters are needed. I think George Voss still sells the Smiley's quite reasonably priced if you're looking for one.
However, don't fall into the trap of thinking they work the same. I've experimented with all three and can tell you from empirical evidence that they do NOT. The Factory unit is still the best. The Becker is number 2. The Smiley is number 3. All are fine for a good receiver installation. But there is a difference between them so be aware of it and the possible limitations it COULD impart to a specific plane. Personally, I fly foamies with the Smiley and crunchies with the stock. Though number 2 in performance, the Becker is the coolest. Bill Swingle Janesville, CA RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
