I run a Becker on my MPX 4000.
I have no issues with the Antenna,
Is it good as or better than the whip?
I donno.....
When first testing the antenna, and working on my LSF Level V cross country, I was flying my ICON, maybe 2 or 300 feet off tha deck and as far out as you dare get, ( I was losing sight of the Stab),  when Jim McCarthy and TK came over and pulled out the antenna to extending it to its full length.
I was not having control problems, but they said the TX Looks Better with the Ant Fully Extended.
I also bought another Becker Antenna  from Jochen Luetke, when flying the TNT, and gave it to a bud of mine in Cincinnati to put on his 4000 as well..
Speaking ot the TNT, that Contest, Last year was another case of a lot of way out and low flying, due the the Wx and low ceilings.. in a lot of cases, less than normal launch height.
Its just data....

I've been using one for about 4 months on my 3030.  While I haven't done any detailed testing, I also haven't had any range problems, even with a "Feather" Rx at significant distances.  The Becker certainly make launching easier than the original antenna.

Subject: [RCSE] Becker antenna

I just got my Becker antenna from Jochen Luetke for my Multiplex Royal Evo transmitter.  I was wondering if other Becker antenna owners could respond regarding their use of this antenna.  Mainly, I was concerned about there is any kind of range reduction when using this antenna.  Obviously, you would have full range with the OEM antenna but if there was some reduction with range using when using the Becker antenna I was wondering if they could give their real world estimate.
