I have three tool boxes depending on where I am flying.
1. Local flying at the Airfoilers model field.
A cardboard coke flat notched to fit the fuselage containing a roll of wing tape and a pair of scissors. If I need more, I run home to do the work.
2. Contest where I travel on the airlines.
A canvas tool pouch I bought from the original Bag Lady at Visalia many years ago containing a screw driver, Phillips screw driver, ball driver for 4-40 socket head cap screws, tow hook wrench, scissors, Xacto knife, small needle nose pliers, small pair of dikes, and a stopwatch. Tool pouch, Smart Charge, and wing tape are carried in the archery bow case that I used to ship the model as checked luggage. Don't fly to contest any more because of the Terminal Stupid Asses.
3. Contests that I travel to in my van.
A tool box with the usual assortment of tools and emergency supplies, spare model, spare transmitter, and a Smart Charge permantly mounted in the van.
