This are the two best in my past. The first was a while a go. A bunch of pilots in our club practiced F3J launches. The pilot (Troy) did the leg signal ( you all know, it looks like a dog peeing on a tree). While all this business was happening, he somehow tangled the transmitter antenna with the launch line. Well the signal was given, runners run, airplane gone, radio gone......Pilot running after all of it. Let this sick in for a moment, nice visual...........
Johnny Berlin launching the Sailair to hard at our club contest, and with a big bang failed the joiner box, but only half way. The glider now sports a sexy 45� extra dihedral only on one wing. It looked like a giant ornithopter with a dead engine hanging in the air. Johnny made the time and then landed the glider on the field, nice. The Sailair is flying again.
