I threw my "50MHz". duckie on an antenna analyzer and found it actually 
resonant at 62MHz. I used it for thermal flying for several years, 
changing back to the telescopic to  use  tape as a wind gage.

Anyway, that suggests that the 72 MHz JRPA155 whip antenna from JR might also
work on 50 MHz. Still, we won't know for sure until someone does some tests
and reports back.
