Question: With two GPS coordinates, is there a simple formula or converter to calculate the distance in miles between those two GPS points.
For instance: One GPS coordinate is in Chicago; and a second is in Northern Canada; what is the distance (mileage) between these two points?
I came up dry searching Google!

Go to http://www.indo.com/distance/ and the algorithm is built in. The formula, unfortunately is simple but tedious.
