This idea of a "clean" transmitter is an interesting problem. I know this list has a lot of radio professionals. Can a transmitter "leak" the signal? I know I've experienced this in some big hand launch contests when you have 12 radios on at the same time. I've had hits when I know no one is one my channel.
If it's true, shouldn't a transmitter frequency check be required at the start of any large contest? JE -- Erickson Architects John R.
