| I've flown an Xtail a bit, and the v-tail quite a lot. The book on the Zenith is that they are a great floater, lots of wing with a highly cambered airfoil, this is certainly true. Other part of the book is that they don't have the "legs" to travel, I have not found this to be a problem with a bit of reflex dialed in, the Zenith will move nicely. I got an Icon and X tail within a couple of weeks of each other, flew both a bit to get a sense of which to make my primary plane. Frankly, it was a hard decision, these are both excellent sailplanes. I opted for the Icon, but again, a hard decision. FWIW, Rudy Seigel won OVSS #1 with a Zenith X. My X tail is for sale, as is a V-tail as I have too many toys at this point. If you or others are interested contact me offline for details. This hasn't colored my mini-review above. Hope this helps you some Barry On Jun 15, 2005, at 8:21 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:
