Stork 1, 130" span, 7037 foil, Brand new, test flown, converted from V tail
to Pike X tail.
I got the plane new, outfitted it and converted it to the Pike rear end
xtail (had a one piece pain in the butt huge Vtail). stiffened the tail boom
with upper and lower Carbon tow and installed carbon pushrods.
Its all set up with Volz servo mounts which can be adapted to hold JR/Hitec
servos easily.
I have flown it and have the set up figured out. I did it as my annual winter project and it is a beautiful sailplane with curved swallow tips. I got two sets of the 3 degree carbon joiners and the stock straight joiners for it. It flys very much like a giant handlaunch, smooth a graceful. Indicates lift really well and with 7037 gobble altitude in a thermal. Its not a Pike or an Icon but it is pretty and sweet flying machine. First $500 takes it and I'll split the shipping.
