Klaus, yes I’ve met with Gordy flown with him at Los Banos a few years back & consider him a friend.  He knows my sense of humor and realizes that the the things I have to say are mostly “Tongue in cheek”.  Unfortunately for all of us, emails don’t reliably convey tone.

For the most part, I don’t even reply to Gordy’s posts but then there’s always that time he leaves himself way out on a limb & I just can’t seem to help myself and feel the urge to take a pot shot at him.

At any rate, Gordy is a big boy, and a great guy who can take care of himself.  I’m still waiting to get invited to another steak BB-cue at Los Banos.  Maybe it’s my turn though.  Perhaps this coming fall I’ll have to take care of that.

Thanks for the update.  We had a feeling you were unreliable and full of BS.  You have removed all doubt.  Using such feeble excuses such as a flat tire shows absolutely no creativity on your part.  Surely someone like you can come up with some new and more original material Gordy.
