John,

My heart sank when I read your subject line in fear the news was what it was.  I did not know Mark other than over RCSE but know we have lost a really great guy.  He was always quick to help any and all that asked questions that he could lend a hand with.  We conversed many times via email and he always had great stories about both RC and Full Scale Soaring to share.  Please let us know if there are any memorials set up in Mark's name and where one might send a card or something to the family.

See Ya,

Subject: [RCSE] Final Glide, Mark Navarre

Mark Navarre died Sunday when his ASW-20 impacted terrain on the white mountains.

He was one of my best friends, and we had the best times ever flying both full scale and R/C gliders together.

Sucks.
