When Rob Glover asked me if we should invite you to
join our F3J crew at the NATS, I must admit to some apprehension. I knew
that none of us were at the same level as you and I was worried that we might
somehow cause you to be distracted from an outstanding performance.
I was dead WRONG! You took us under your wing
from the first meeting. Patiently helping us measure the line, install
the condoms, tie the knots, supervise the equipment setup and keep the
line cool.
During the contest, you nurtured us to our best
performances ever. It was amazing to see you fly great rounds from
launches provided by towers who had never done it before.
