Tip on bagged wing twist removal. Harley,
As I reported in RCSD about a year ago - had a similar problem with a wing on a Whisper. Solution was to clamp the the root of the offending wing to the bench (or just leave it on the fuselage and secure the fuselage) add a piece of Al angle about 18" long to the twisted tip (clamped with foam padding) - a piece of wood stock or large dowel would also work fine. Then hang a weight off the bar/dowel to twist the wing. This allows some control of the amount of twist you want to take out.
Warm up the wing with a hot air gun (monokote variety) and gradually heat it (top and bottom) until you have about twice the amount of final twist you want. An incidence meter is a real help here. Allow it to cool down completely while still clamped. It will spring back about half of what you put in.
One might add moist paper towels to the surface to mediate any possible heat excursions but that's not a problem if you take a little time and do it gradually.
