I'm gonna regret this some day, but I need some cash....
For Sale: 2 NIB Compulsions.
I had Fred make me a matched set, sorta.
Each fuse came with preinstalled push rods.
Wings for are each 126 inches. The ailerons were cut shorter than
usual so that a generous trileron could be installed.
Servo bays for the wing servos were cut for JR 368's at an angle
suitable for RDS installation. It's a trivial task to use a more
typical wing servo installation if you wish.
To say they are NIB is fibbing a little bit. I've installed the
servo tray and fuse servos (new Volz analog servos--optional for the
buyer), I've installed the stabilizer cranks and the rudder posts.
The nose cones are painted white (three coats of Krylon FUSION paint
with wet sanding and a final coat of clear-coat). The paint wasn't
so much for looks as to cover the electronic bits with white to cut
down on possible heat problems.
One plane is a 7035, one is an FS01.
A problem might be the wing rods. The stock wing rod is bent to
about 4 degrees. I bought an optional solid steel wing rod for windy
weather ballast, which has a recommended 6 degree bend. I took the
other stock aluminum wing rod and bent it to 8 degrees, just to have
something to play with. Depending on what the buyer wants or needs,
we'll work something out. They are 5/8 inch diameter, not the most
common size.
I would like $650 plus shipping for each plane without servos, or if
the buyer wishes, $700 with the two Volz fuse servos installed. If
one person would like both planes, they are both yours with servos
for $1375 plus shipping. I will give a preference for that type of
purchase (and save me the hassle of dealing with wing rods). Find a
local friend and buy them both and save a few buck$. If you only
want one plane, please let me know and I'll sell them separately as
need be. Please be patient as I will wait a bit for anyone who might
want to buy them both.
Please contact me off line if interested.
Cheers,
Bill
