Hi Kevin, I built three of them last year for the club and they do work fine. The only change from the plans was to add more bolts to the frying pan. Think I added three times the amount of bolts suggested but I might have chosen a too soft pan. Hard to tell when you buy them ; ) Also if I was going to build them again I would use a bigger diameter aluminum plate. Probably 2" or 3" more since depending of the operator the line may get caught behind the plate. I don't know if I used the listed pulley sizes but with a longshaft they retrieve really fast. So much we fly MOM contests with only one winch now. Get everybody in line and launch one after the other whit in 10 to 15 seconds.
