Hello All F5J Enthusiasts. The Albuquerque Soaring Association (AMA#1965) reminds you that the 2005 Albuquerque F5J World Challenge, to be held at McIntosh, NM the weekend of October 14-16, 2005, is fast approaching. Register for this great event at http://www.soarabq.org/f5j_wc_2005/f5j_main.htm
The contest will feature the popular "Albuquerque Rules," in which the pilot chooses his limited motor run time within a fixed working time window. Flight points will be determined by the pilot's gliding flight time (motor off) within the remaining working time. Three classes of competition will be available--Speed 400, 7-cell, and Unlimited. This has proved to be a fun, yet challenging format--this year will be no exception. Registration is easy--complete information is at: http://www.soarabq.org/f5j_wc_2005/f5j_main.htm North Central New Mexico is gorgeous that time of year. Make your travel plans now!!
