Thanks Steve, it was a very fun weekend.  Two great weather days, and two completely different sets of air for each day, it's amazing what a 90 degree wind shift does to that field.

Sunday was burial day, there was some vicious separations on the 12 minute task times.  I really like the Fred contest on the OVSS series, I think the Nats, SOAR Fred, and FRU are the toughest contests in the series, and the guy that does well at all three is usually strong for the glass eagle at the end of the season.

On Sunday (from memory):

1) Richard Burnoski  (Evolution and a mod'ed out Pike)
2) Sniedley (Nyx)
3) Karl Miller (Pike)  ?  I think Karl was 3rd.

Karl Miller was the weekend champion.

There were sportsmans scores too, but my short term memory was fried out at our BBQ Sat. night...  sorry!

Thanks to the "Boss" for the tasty Italian Roast Beef sandwiches served on the field for lunch both days.

Thanks to C.D. TK for running a strong contest, and all the behind the scenes work it takes to do one of these gigs.

Thanks to all our out of town guests, we really appreciate the time it takes to travel to these gigs.  Sieb, Barry Andersen, Larry Ruble, Bob Burnson, Phil Giesking, Dave Haskins, Capn' Jack and Karen, Johnny "Mother Chicken" Diniz, Henry Bostick, Johnny Berlin and Butch, Martin Doney, Paul Sherman, Ed Whyte and anyone I may have forgotten.

I really had a fun time this weekend, I've done nothing but work hard at my company since Nats, and again it was very special to contest with and party with all you folks.

Thanks for the kind friendship,
Jim
