Our club meetings have two regular features that seems to draw repeat turnout. (At least they keep bringing me back to the meetings). One, a local Albuquerque hobby store, Hobbies 'n Stuff, graciously donates gift certificates for which we hold a monthly drawing. It is the first item on the agenda to discourage latecomers. (And if you're ever in Albuquerque, go and check out Stan and Helen's shop--it is one of the best around.)
The other item, which keeps meetings from getting too long, is the promise of regrouping after the formal meeting at a local restaurant for pie and other treats. (Flying Star Cafe, another notable ABQ establishment). Richard Shagam President, Albuquerque Soaring Assoc.
