That's how I feel about those who choose to use varios for TD contest flying.... What's the point? Fly the freakin' airplane... ;-) I'm kind of surprised that varios aren't being used in UAV's to sustain or extend flight. Pretty simple really. Or maybe they are and we don't know about it...
