To be added to the hang-gliding guy's insurance means that we would have to join USHGA. Not a big deal but USHGA might have an issue with insuraning models and not hangliding pilots. The HG's pay an exta 2k a year to use the site which makes it the most expensive place in the United States for Hang-Gliding insurance. So there has been some discussion on this topic but it doesn't seem like a probable direction.
I did have a talk with the guy that runs the hangliding group and ask for some information about their supplemental insurance and I know that the MCS President has this information so that could be an avenue and suspect that Doug has already gone this route. I haven't talked to Doug recently but have a call and email into him to see where everything stands. Hopefully there will be good news soon. Thanks for the ideas and
