I think that keeping track of other Sugar liveUSB implementations is going to help this, because that way we can keep track of naming. ("Sugar liveUSB implementations" is a much better term than "SoaS spins," which was the term I was using because I couldn't think of any others.) I think my email should have read something like this: "We have a main SoaS project, which is the Fedora-based work being done by Sebastian. Let's make a list of other Sugar liveUSB implementations, so we can keep track of what projects are going on in the liveUSB space, and Marketing can make decisions appropriately." Does this clear up the confusion? (It does for me - I'd also initially thought we were going to come up with a second name for Sebastian's SoaS work, to have something to call it in case Marketing decided to use "SoaS" to refer to something else - but that's not necessary at this point.) (Sorry to clutter up the intarwebs with communications overhead. I think we're mostly out of the woods on all this stuff, though, and future liveUSB projects have a nice, neat place to file into now - the category of "Sugar liveUSB projects" - instead of having the "what's SoaS, who uses the name, etc?" debate all over again.
