In fact, I'm pretty annoyed at this step backwards: On Thu, Oct 08, 2009 at 09:34:56AM +0100, Martin Dengler wrote: > On Thu, Oct 08, 2009 at 01:42:56AM -0400, Samuel Klein wrote: > > I removed the draft conclusions on the report page (thanks for setting > > it up!) since we're not close to having most of the DP members weigh > > in yet on any of the questions. > > Well, in my opinion you've just said "it's OK not to have an opinion" > by removing an attempt to stake out a middle ground (please note all > the "draft" answers were opposite to my positions)...
And what happened to "iterating over a wiki page"[1] or "list the various opinions...on one wiki page"[2]? I _gave_ you the opposite opinion[3], which you stated "preferably"[1] should be on a wiki page, and instead of putting my points on the wiki you spent your wiki-editing time removing the other side (i.e., contra-to-mine). Rather than taking the time to improve the page by doing the research and analysis to add another side, you've just moved us backward. The Report clearly had "draft" on it before your edits, yet you felt that discussion was best served by taking it back to email and removing the summary of others' more mature opinions. Whose understanding did that advance? So now I'm going to stop whinging, revert your edits, and add both opinions side-by-side to each question, like I've already done for Question 1: http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/index.php?title=Decision_panels/SOAS&oldid=38957#Question_1 > > SJ > > Martin Martin 1. http://lists.sugarlabs.org/archive/soas/2009-October/000151.html 2. http://lists.sugarlabs.org/archive/soas/2009-October/000150.html 3. http://lists.sugarlabs.org/archive/soas/2009-October/000168.html
