Peter;

In soas log application; there is NO entry in the presence.log
total blank. I think sebastian's note about the bug:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=585413

Is what occurs.

I have been seeing this for several weeks or more, so this is not a new issue with the builds.

* for comparison: Blueberry-v2 as a USB sees the jabber nicely.

( FYI: f13 Soas sees my XO-1 (140py ) in the neighborhood (f1), when it has no entry in jabber line of its' Control Panel/ Network.
this seems to indicate that presence is not running.)

Thanks, thought so. Can you see if there's any thing in the Log
activity for the presence service? Or email me directly the log so I
can cross check some other issues we;re seeing.

Peter;

I know it is not an activity, but it affects all of them:

Will the presence service get fixed in time for the release?

All I am able to see is xmpp local on any of the f13 Composes of Soas....
log application has no entries....
No Jabber server access for collaboration.

(Or are we waiting for tomeu to rework it for the next version)

Is there a jabber server configured in the default config? I'm looking
into the problem and its on my list. I'm hoping to get it fixed before
the final release.
