Hi Sean,

It would be useful if you could reply in line so I can tell exactly
which bit of the thread below that your referring to so I'll make a
guess.

Well, on the Sugar Labs side the Sugar Creation Kit as championed by
yourself and John Tierney has been an excellent initiative to lower
both the installation and unfamiliarity barriers.

It seems to be more a question for Fedora which has its own rules and
traditions relating to "official spin status".

Its very simple. We need to get the code into a git repo somewhere,
preferrably tar ball releases with all the proper COPYING and
associated files and get it packaged into Fedora mainline. So
documentation on a wiki somewhere with details on things like where to
send patches and if its derived from other works those sort of
details. I would be quite happy to assist in guiding Thomas through
these processes to make SCK a SoaS-4 feature.

The SugarCreationKit is a compilation of critical files on a DVD.iso

I am not knowledgeable on how to put a DVD.iso into git.
I have never used git in my work.

http://people.sugarlabs.org/Tgillard/SugarCreationKit09-Contents.txt is a list of it's contents.

Sources are selected Floss Manuals and pdf copies of pages from the sugarlabs.wiki and ASLO
plus the appropriate .iso files and instructions.

Please help.

I am requesting that the Sugar-Creation-Kit-DVD

be accepted formally as a "Feature" of the next version of the Soas-spin.

Mel suggested that I start this thread to start discussion on what the
procedure should be to achieve this.

(we do not seem to have a formal one at the moment)
