The problem I believe is changes in API in the latest evince release which will be 3.0.0 or what ever it is that will be shipping as part of gnome 3 / Fedora 15. The problem as I see it at the moment is not currently Read itself but rather issues with gnome-python2-evince against the current release of evince.
