(DNP). T+ink--which is led by former Global Crossing founder Gary Winnick--said the partnership will bring its technology to Dai Nippon Print's 30,000 corporate clients around the world. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. and the two did not say exactly how they will be working together. Yardi Buys Enerliance ---- Santa Barbara-based real estate software developer Yardi said Tuesday that it has acquired Enerliance, a developer of energy efficiency software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Irvine-based Enerliance develops software used for optimizing large scale air conditioning systems, connected to meet demand response requirements. Yardi said that Enerliance and its team will remain in Irvine. Yardi said that the Enerliance Load Based Optimization System (LOBOS) significantly reduces energy consumption in large buildings and campuses. Teledyne Wins $17.6M Contract ---- Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies Incorporate said Tuesday that one of its subsidiaries, Teledyne Energy Systems, has scored a $17.6M contract from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Teledyne said the contract is for a technology transfer and flight hardware upgrade program. The contract covers turning a lab-scale thermoelectric material production process into flight-ready materials and components. That technology was developed for the Mars Curiosity rover and its MMRTG (Multi Mission Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator) . Activision Blizzard Sees Higher Than Expected Sales In Q1 ---- Santa Monica-based videogame publisher Activision Blizzard said late Tuesday that it saw better than expected financial results for the first quarter of 2014. The company reported net revenues of $1.111 billion, compared with an earlier expectation of only $885M in sales. The company explained that the numbers were driven by record digital sales of its franchises, which include World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Despite the better than expected results, the sales were still down from the first quarter of 2013, when the company reported $1.32 billion in sales. Private Equity Firm Puts Epicor Software On Market ---- Epicor Software, the supply chain management software company whose roots are in Orange County, has been put up for sale by private equity firm Apax Partners, according to reports Tuesday. The funding was led by Rincon Venture Partners, and also included Epic Ventures and angels. According to the company, the new funds bring its total raised to $5.5M. HG Data says it plans to add more than a dozen engineers and data scientists at the company as a result of the funding. HG Data offers up business intelligence software used to help in sales and marketing programs, specifically for technology clients.
